Creating A Workplace Culture That Values Mental Health

This is a three-part series in that the conversations build upon one another, but you do not have attend all of them, however. There will be survey at the end of each webinar and if you complete the survey, you are eligible for $100 gift card, and if you attend all three and complete the three surveys in the series, we will have a grand prize in addition at the end.

We can all agree that COVID-19 has had a profound impact on mental health. Our employees and their families have been impacted, access to care is challenging, and having an EAP is just not enough. It is important for leaders to understand their role in creating, encouraging, and maintaining a culture of mental health and well-being. The following leaders will join us to share how they are actively supporting employees’ well-being during and after the pandemic:

  • Anna Meiners, MA, VP of Customer Success, Canopy
  • Cassie Buckroyd, Senior Manager, Total Rewards Experience at Columbia Sportswear Company
  • Leslie Hammer, Co-Director, Oregon Healthy Workforce Center
  • Mike Franz, MD, DFAACAP, FAPA, Medical Director, Behavioral Health, PacificSource

Discussion topics will include:

  • An update on the current mental health care crisis on employees
  • Leadership’s role in engaging employers to provide timely and appropriate access to high quality behavior health solutions.
  • Successful behavioral health strategies, and impact on reducing overall costs, improving quality, and enhancing member experience
  • Use of technology (such as tele-therapy and resiliency apps) to optimize sustained engagement
Strategies to address the social determinants of health, resulting in better outcomes

This session will be facilitated by Anthony Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Canopy.
